Arcmanoro Niles paints with much contemplation, or a better way to put it would be he paints contemplation. Niles, who is a graduate of New York’s Academy of Art, cites Caravaggio and Rembrandt as his major influences and is already carving out a name for himself with solo shows at Rachel Uffner Gallery. His work pops out with colours that seemingly depict the atmosphere of his subjects, giving it honesty and an uninhibited aura.
