The edgy fashion editorial shot by Steven Gomillion was a daring departure from traditional fashion photography. Set against a stark yet colour-popping industrial backdrop, the mannequins posed in avant-garde ensembles pushing the boundaries of conventional fashion. Gomillion’s use of dramatic lighting and bold angles added to the edgy aesthetic of the shoot. However, the unexpected twist came in the form of the classic perfumes used to accentuate the looks. From Cartier’s Pasha to Chanel N°5, the fragrances provided a contrast to the cutting-edge fashion, lending an air of timelessness to the overall look. The juxtaposition of the classic perfumes with the edgy backdrop created a unique and unforgettable editorial that challenged the traditional notions of beauty and style.
