ANNA HALAREWICZ

Channeling strong femininity that is equal parts strong and sensual while also being poetic and dark—is Anna Halarewicz signature art language. The professional illustrator based in Warsaw, Poland graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and then resorted to teaching at the School of Form in Poznan and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Halarewicz’s artwork can be seen in many mediums such as acrylic and watercolour but ink has always been her mainstay. Apart from showcasing her artwork at Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Milan, London and Paris, she has also illustrated at live events for Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chloé and Balmain and commercial clients that include Moët et Chandon, Triumph, Omega Watches and Ferrero. Some of her significant artworks have been seen making it to the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, etc. Julia Schonlau’s book ‘1000 Portrait Illustrations’ (2012) by Quarry Books and ‘The Best Polish Illustrators’ (2016) by Slow Foundation have also featured her works.
