NOV/DEC 2025 | EDITORS NOTE

Every issue of The Peacock Magazine is a mirror of where we are creatively, culturally and consciously. This one, in particular, feels like a celebration of the evolution of artists, visionaries and creators who continue to shape the world with beauty and intent.

We begin with Peacock Hearts, a curated collection of our current obsessions that speak to our signature aesthetic, equal parts statement and soul.

At the centre of it all is our cover star, Bhumi Satish Pednekkar, an actor, activist and now freshly-minted entrepreneur, who stands at the crossroads of ambition and authenticity. In her most candid conversation yet, Bhumi talks about growth, the courage to be seen and her belief that empathy and excellence can co-exist. She’s a woman in transition, rewriting her story in her own words, and her journey feels deeply resonant of the times we live in.

Next up, we throw the spotlight on some of the highly revered global icons, from Frank Everett’s discerning eye for jewels and the emotions they carry, to Kelly Hoppen’s enduring design sensibilities, and Maria Asadi’s artistic approach to redefining beauty.

We then take a deeper dive into ideas that move the world of luxury, fashion, and technology. Jacob & Co. takes centre stage as Anita Khatri explores why the brand’s audacious blend of extravagance and innovation continues to lead the watchmaking revolution. We revisit 20 iconic runway shows that reshaped fashion history, moments that transcended fabric to become cultural symbols. The mini bag mania continues to charm with its paradox of size and power, while archival fashion takes us back to the past, only to remind us how cyclical and romantic style can be. From Manish Mishra’s curation of the world’s most legendary jewels ever sold under the hammer to Kaviya Sneha’s glimpse into AI’s evolving takeover, the section is a blend of intellect, sparkle, and zeitgeist. And if beauty is your terrain, Anjan Sachar’s deep dive into NAD therapy unpacks whether the buzzed-about IV drip truly lives up to its rejuvenating promise.

We come back to Paris, where Falguni Shane Peacock’s couture meets light, shadow and emotion in The Light Writes Paris and Paris Je T’aime. And further, in Ashen Roses, we channel the spirit of the panther—wild, powerful, unafraid.

We close with our Paris travelogue that gives a glimpse of our creative pulse as we live, work and dream in our favourite city. The issue also does a short #throwback on the recently concluded All That Glitters Diwali Ball, where we take on New York City to celebrate the festival of lights–Diwali.

We’ve put this issue together with love, and we hope you receive it with just as much. Happy reading!
