A graduate of Yale MFA’s program, Vaughn Spann is fast climbing the watch list ladder of the art world. Since his graduation in 2018 he already has sold out shows at Half Gallery in New York as well as exhibitions at Almine Rech in London, Night Gallery in Los Angeles, and Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo. Drawing inspirations from his life events, Spann portrays the bigger messages derived from these instances, which in turn challenges the viewer to interpret a singular meaning.
