Without a doubt, the dress comes first, followed by jewellery. The choice of jewellery should be such that it enhances the overall look, like the cherry on top. Since mine was a sundowner beach wedding and reception, I opted for something out of the box rather than the classic red/pink lehenga. At Falguni Shane Peacock, I found a perfect ensemble that was traditional and had a modern touch to it. I finalized on a single tone pastel-hued outfit and added color by opting for a light green Polki set. I chose traditional jewellery pieces to go with my outfit as I wanted to retain the essence of an Indian bride.
