1) AS A PERFORMANCE ARTIST, HOW INTEGRAL IS FASHION TO YOU?
“I think not just because I’m a performance artist, fashion really important everywhere to everyone.”
2) WITH CONSTANT EVOLUTION IN MUSIC IN INDIA, WHAT ARE THE GENRES YOU ENJOY PERFORMING?
“So actually music is a very important part of my life, I like all kinds of music as long as it’s appealing to my soul, but if you ask me about my favourite genre it’s definitely Sufi or anything that has a folk touch to it.”
3) WHAT ARE THE FACTORS YOU CONSIDER BEFORE PUTTING TOGETHER AN OUTFIT FOR A LIVE PERFORMANCE?
“I jump and dance a lot on stage, so I make sure my outfit is comfortable. I keep it casual with a comfy pair of shoes and a cropped top, which is cool to look at but also comfortable to perform in.”
4) BEING A MILLENNIAL ARTIST, HOW DO YOU UTILIZE SOCIAL MEDIA AS A TOOL TO ENHANCE YOUR CAREER?
“Social media these days is really important. I make sure I talk to my fans and connect with them. It has helped me a lot, as I put out a lot of videos on all the platforms, and social media makes it easier for me to reach out with my work, so it’s integral to me.”
5) WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM OUTFIT TO PERFORM IN?
“I think I love how Beyonce carries herself in those bodysuits and I would also like to try traditional outfits on stage, I’m generally not comfortable in them on stage, but I would surely like to find an ethnic garment that I can work on stage.”
